October 2012 Women Stand Strong Always
As this month is Dometic Violence and Breast Cancer Awareness month I will be posting info on various events in my city (Pittsburgh, PA) and the surrounding areas Philly, and DMV on what these communities are doing to raise awareness to these issues that are so important to women and young girls, esspecially in the African American culture. People turn a blind eye or act like it's NOT an issue or matter we should be worried about but women have had to fight for so many rights that men had just handed to them , and as a double minority an African American woman I want to stand my ground and take these issue to the forefront so that plans of action to ,recovery, counseling, being health councious and knowing the warning signs of an abusive relationships, and the types that are out there. I am here for you, with guidence, words of wisdom and a shoulder to lean on. That is one reason why my music is so important getting my original music OUT to the masses to pull at the heartstrings, but that artist you can throw on my cd and vibe.
